There is an issue in the “Simple Extensions” tutorial. In step 6, it instructs you to use the “make camera follow user” block, but this block is missing from the toolbox, causing confusion. It only becomes available after completing the tutorial.

That’s strange, does it let you use other camera follow blocks? maybe it means go to scene and get the camera follow from there?
Check the scene category and check if there’s a camera follow sprite block.

This is only during the tutorial they forgot to allow the “make camera follow” during the tutorial. Once you complete the tutorial you will see it.
Oh, that’s annoying.
It doesn’t matter if you do the tutorials though right? I didn’t, unless you get a badge or something.
This is for my students who encounter the bug and don’t know how to move past it. Hopefully, someone from makecode team can easily fix this.
