bro, my school is already 4 weeks in
Welcome! Nice profile pic!
I am not new to makecode, I tried everything. I had to restart my computer due to some lag, it wasnāt functioning normally. When I came back, my project got duplicated 3 times, and all of the copies did not have the old version history or code. At this point I have had so many errors that even version history could not fix. The latest version of makecode has made makecode better, but also glitchy.
Iām so sorry to hear that. Losing your work like that is one of the most frustrating things that can happen. Itās completely understandable why youād be so upset. Donāt let it get you down, though. All the knowledge you gained while working on it is still there, and thatās the most important part. Youāll be able to use it to create something even better next time.
Iām in my second week. itās been okay
Bro were not trying to communicate privately specifically on the forums we just need a way to link him to a chat/email so the team can comminicate much better then on the forums were we have to wait 3 days at the most just to get one post through. Danny also said, not everyone on the team has forum accounts or is willing to use the forums. Iām trying to make this work and the team mostly hangs out in person so we need a way to do stuff similar in the way we currently are without having to go through the forum stuff
Hey guys I know the secret to getting tons of likes really quick!!1!!111
be a moderator
BTW weāre friends irl, so i made him his pfp.
ok yeesh I didnāt read that kinda sassy ngl
But think about it. If you were to post your discord username/gmail account/whatever else on makecode to contact a user offline, the user wouldnāt be the only one knowing this. The makecode forums is open to every person on the internet to see, and you could receive a lot of spam email or fall into a phishing scam or something.
Also, this is hilarious.
The record for longest time since last post approved is a weekā¦
I think.
Hi, is there a way to change layers on Arcade? Iā havenāt found one in two years
Imagine a feature where you can limit who can click on your project. Mods can see, but its on the forums and can help with group work @moderators
Week 6, 7, or 8. Somewhere there
Reminds me of those older SNES and NES rpg games
Iām on week 2
Tip to avoid that save the game with the picture feature every time you take a break from developing the game it saved me so many times.
yeah like that
That would be helpful. Perhaps choosing which users in specific could view the link to a project but mods can always view? I dunno. @richard what do you think about this suggestion?
