My thoughts
Yes its similar, and that is on purpose, its not ripping off Pokemon. The reason its similar is because Pokemon as a franchise right now has been very lacking as of recent, and the goal of Palword is to make Pokemon but better, which it succeeds in, in so many culminating factors. Plenty of games look like Mario, or Wind Waker, but they arenât ripping off those games, its just a stylistic choice to show what the game is inspired from.
Also, I donât think ZA was fan service, otherwise the game would have been priced for what its worth (maybe $30 at the most) and the endgame wouldenât have been carved out and sold seprately as the most expensive DLC that has ever come out in Nintendo history as of now. The budget speaks for itself, the DLC and the game had the same one, (which basically proves that the DLC was carved out of the endgame, and the budget was already ludicrously cheap (which is because of Pokemon Company, not gamefreak) but you get my point.
Honestly, GameFreak is absolutely capable of cooking with Pokemon, but the Pokemon Company and Nintendo really like counting their extra pennies⌠Unlike Palworld, which is worth the price, and has love and passion eminating from it.
Just my thoughts though. Anyone wanna add on?

Light Years was a snowboarding montage, When You Gonna Learn wasnât aired by MTV due to controversial parts of the video, Too Young To Die was him dancing in an abandoned military facility, Canned Heat was him dancing while jumping through walls, Virtual Insanity is the most well-known, Half the Man was him, from the neck up, singing in monochrome, High Times is a montage of their Travelling Without Moving tourâs brazillian section, etc.

Ok so unfortunate news⌠
My fonts do not work⌠or at least my past postsâ fonts. So um now I will be using just the default text because the font it replaces my original with is ugly (no offence font). So yeah until I can find a way to successfully get my font back I will be using the default.
