Why do you even have harpoons trained on him in the first place?

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

Spoiler

Oh right, speaking of which, the answer to Riddle #3 was initially supposed to be atoms, with many of these particles coming together to combine + form physical human life; then, after somebody’s death (a funeral bell), they are all scattered.

I ended up changing my mind halfway through due to my second doubting of the overall scientific knowledge of the MakeCode Forum members. I ended up having to change a lot of abstracted language to make the answer of “schoolmates” feel much less cheap.

Might have been one of my largest missed opportunities that I’ve ever had in my lifetime, idrk.

have you done the asking yet??? (as in I think you should ask ChimbroDaPro but obviously I haven’t lived that long in the forums)

“Hey copilot, make me a movie about MakeCode Arcade.”
@ChimbroDaPro specifically requested for people to stop trying to use scamma in things.

You should make your own character.

RIDDLE PACK #4

It’s been 1 week since I posted the previous riddle pack, so another week, another trio of riddles/brainteasers for all you MakeCoders to crack.

The following riddles should also be ranked from easiest to hardest, although I did have a bit of trouble trying to figure out whether Riddle #2 was harder than Riddle #3 or not. I also included a hint for each riddle for struggling people (all the same deal as usual).

Riddle #1: A Boat Under The Blackened Skies
Difficulty: EASY (1.5/5)

The Riddle Itself

I could have 6 legs, but I could not walk or run.
I am a boat for many different props.
Every time the sky goes dark, I feel an especially heavy load to carry on my hull.
That sensation often lasts for hours to come.
What Am I?

BIG HINT #1

Hint: The answer is an item that humans themselves artificially build/manufacture in factories.

Answer To Riddle #1

A: The answer is a Bed. These items technically do have legs (that number can go up to 6) for supporting weight purposes, but other than that, they are not like humans or other animals, in which they can move at their own pace. People put their own stuff (e.g., teddy bears) on their beds, which are the “props” on the boat in this context. Beds are also designed for humans to sleep on for the night and for several hours (8 hours is considered healthy), and humans can be quite heavy to hold.

Riddle #2: Triple Digits
Difficulty: MEDIUM (3/5)

The Riddle Itself

Your calculus teacher decides to give you all a quick brainteaser to start the class off on; he merely asks you to write down whatever is the largest possible number that one could make with a scarce amount of 3 digits, no more, no less. Jotting down any other mathematical symbols is inherently forbidden.

No one in the class was able to obtain the correct solution before the teacher revealed it with an explanation. What was the solution in the mind of the teacher?

BIG HINT #2

Hint: the answer is not 999; I just wanted to point that out.

Answer To Riddle #2

A: The solution number (see screenshot below) that your teacher was thinking of was so astronomically large that it could not be expressed in full form with all its total number of digits. Like, the calculator below legit hit an error trying to compute it. Technically, we aren’t writing any additional forbidden mathematical symbols either; we are just writing the 9s on top of each other to represent exponents.

Riddle #3: The Roaring Circus
Difficulty: HARD (4/5)

The Riddle Itself

They begin with some nice and efficient blinding weaponry.
Then there is only silence beneath it all.
Then the almighty lion roars and grumbles heartily.
Then the circus has its encore.
What could it all mean?

BIG HINT #3

Hint: the circus tent itself exists at an altitude high above your house.

Answer To Riddle #3

A: The answer is a Thunderstorm. Typically, when a thunderstorm is observed with one’s own eyes, there is a very quick lightning strike, typically perceived as a brief flash of light with the potential to shock or blind someone (also, lightning is very dangerous, which is why I used “weaponry”). After a brief while of silence, one could hear a rumbling sound, the thunder itself in the air, sometimes as glorious as a lion’s roar. And after a few more moments, after the thunder roars through the sky, we repeat the cycle of another lightning strike to thunderous sounds (encore).

If the people on the MakeCode forums could please all reply to this post with the # of riddles that they got right or wrong (along with their OG answers), alright, toodles.
