Chapter 1 - Spitters
The Spitter is a plant from the Venus-Like Planet, “Ogum”. Ogum is the First Planet from it’s Star, “Kepler-90”
The Spitter is Known for its ability for it to spit out light, this helps the animal life due to it being tidally locked which means that the same side is always facing it’s Star, and without the Spitters the Dark Side of Ogum would be a Pitch Black Version of Jekonis but without the Yeti’s

Graphics:
Could do with some more originality, a single star shape on a dot background is very generic
Background grid could be removed to make it look less like a maths textbook and to clean up the design
Variance in text styling, sizing and colour could be interesting. An exagerrated tilt might work well
Colours:
Try tying it in with the palette/theming of Missile Battlegrounds, right now the colours evoke more the japanese or english flag than a galga style shootem up.
Darker background might help sell the spacey theme better
Composition
The text doesn’t work well layered on top of the star as it’s background colour becomes inconsistent, making it harder to read and more complex
Experiment with asymmetry and try adding more elements to it to make it more interesting than a bunch of shapes in the middle of the screen
@MeatballDev I don’t think there is enough demand to create a new meta-topic for news items.
The feedback we’ve consistently gotten from users is that people want less off-topic posts cluttering the forum. This forum is for posting games, asking questions, sharing tips, etc. It’s not intended to be a subreddit or a dumping ground for memes or non-makecode related topics.
That being said, we do also want the forum to be a fun place! That’s why we sometimes let threads that are less on topic through. We’re still trying to find the right balance, so bear with us if the moderation seems a little inconsistent at times.
Also, and I promise this isn’t specific to you but a message to all the people on the forum who enjoy creating lots of topics, you’re much more likely to get one of those through if you do it once in a blue moon instead of many times a week.
