Someone is worth 1% less than everyone else lol.
Itās gotta be me >:3
XD Why!?
Look at the picture and think carefullyā¦
Roundoff error ig
yes, the super rigid scale that gave @luke at least a 16 on completion when he submitted an opening
(not that I have anything against luke(who does?))
I have a soft grading curve, on some categories at least.
Yeah I should have got a 5
Oh yea. If @InvalidProject wins, ima make a statue of him and blastbox
OR maybe someone is 1% more than everyone else (me)
Ok so if CK4 does happen, Ima need some feedback.
@Sarge and @randomuser , you two are like the main critics (gene siskels) of Makecode Forum. Do u have any thoughts on how CK3 is going and how I can improve on it?
If I do get a statue, can it be BlastBox stacked with Whisker on top?
Yes (sentence)
I mean whatās done is done but I never liked the fact you get to decide which game wins. I always thought voting on which gameās better is far more fair
Hmm. Iād say Iām mixed on the comp. Great premise, good judging, and awesome competitors, but two main issues: Themes and time. The themes have been uninspiring and fairly limited- itās better to have one that relies on the English language to have more meanings. For example, instead of a theme being āhackingā (which confines users to a game about hacking only) you can try a theme like ācomputersā or āproblem-solvingā, so that there are more possible interpretations. Second problem is time, as while some may be drawn to the competition by its long deadlines, this actually reduces motivation and requires more planning and continual effort from the users! From other comps Iāve seen, the time should be 10-20 days for best results, although I tend to like shorter comps, so I might be biased. Shorter times means less planning and less total comp time, helping to keep people interested the entire time- but a warning, with shorter deadlines comes more often extensions, so you have to give them out plenty but make them short (a max of a week). Oh, and you could take a page out of UAT and game-ify the comp itself! Cool webpages, YouTube video introductions, fighting brackets, special images made for the start of each round- it will make the comp more professional, intriguing, and fun!
Oh, and when in doubt, just do a poll. Always works! XD
Also the lack of a theme has me more lost than inspired tbh
@Luke @Brohann @InvalidProject
Ok, so weāll do something different for the finale this time. Once again, my judging will be a key part to crowning a champion. However, this time (@Sarge feedback), weāll include a public voting booth (voting on which is the best game) in the judging. Each vote is worth 10 points
Now that weāre talking about the finale, I might as well clear a few things up. For the grand finale, you guys are free to choose whatever theme you want: Whether itās SPACE or some other theme like that. Iād pretty much be fine with it.
Aight, everyone vote @Luke no matter what
Can I use my cat in the game
Ok (sentence)
