a to jump b to shot its very rushed i did in an a bit less than an hour starting it at 8:45 and ending at 9:30 also double jump with the shots having recole. this game isnât much but I think it looks cool and is good for the time i put into it

Hopefully this gets approved before the 16th, i wrote it on the 15th still getting updated.
Summary
On the oregon trail, the winter has always been the worst. The animals are scarce, the temperatures are low, and food is always a problem. Albeit rushed, this oregon trail clone takes place in the mountains, where you have to hunt, and travel to get out of the mountains as fast as possible. This isnât finished, so, crunch time here i come.

Cool game! I love all the special effects and how minimalistic it is. @Richard would it be possible to make a version of makecode with only 2 colours? It could be very fast, 1 bit down from 4 for every pixel. Then we could do more calculations and a bigger screen? I am just asking because this game is of a cool genre.

Ok, so I know that I said that if there were less than 7 submissions by the end of 8/15, I would hand out an extension. but seriously, I cannot take this anymore.
I have received numerous messages from contestants telling me abt a lack of sleep and a ton of extenuating circumstances that were far out of their control leading them to be unable to finish their game on time or submitting an unfinished demo
I shall thus veto the whole submissions cap thing and give yâall a 5 day extension till the end of 8/21 EST

If youâre referring to the colors, you can change the color palette in the Assets tab, itâs an option where the block tabs normally are. I havenât played the game, but there is also an extension for fading colors from one to another. I think itâs called âcolorâ or âcolorsâ in the extensions area.

Last one, i swear. Since my explanation and game were two different posts, i might as well join them.
Summary
This game is based off of the classic computer game, The Oregon Trail, which is an idle resource management survival game. It takes place on the oregon trail, where you have to reach oregon. You canât lose (as far as i know), but itâs good to keep your family members alive and healthy. My game is a recreation of this game, where the setting is the harshest of places on the trail. The mountains during winter. Animals are scarce, and night falls quickly. The goal of my game is to travel 350 miles without letting your family die.
The song used for the game is âRed River Valleyâ
For mobile users: Menu to Travel, B to hunt, aim crosshair with arrow keys, and A to shoot.

The train level is difficult because itâs so easy to get stuck, and you have to restart. But the sound design is excellent. 10/10.

I really like the lasso mechanic in this game; however, would you mind telling me which buttons to press after I shot one of the livestock with my lasso? As of now, idrk what to do upon lassoing and the capture counter ainât changing

I think you have to keep lassoing them and moving clumps together till you get to a corral? I couldnât play the game well since I couldnât keep the animals lassoed.

@Richard, I tried editing the pxt.json on a new project. Program Error: PANIC! Code 911 shows up. (This is not me saying how do I fix it, just can it be made possible? It does look cool

@BotWarrior you need to have 16 colors in your palette array. if you donât want to use all 16, you can always just fill out the array with #000000 (thatâs what I do)
