Aight, to those who were late, here’s the TLDR:

  • Quarterfinals theme is APOCALYPSE
  • The deadline is at the very end of 09/09/2025 EST
  • DOUBLE ELIMINATION ROUND, only the top 4 will pass onto the semifinals
  • The winner of the challenge shall win the steak along with the free ticket to the finals!

Aight, bois, so its been like 2 days (almost) since I posted the quarterfinals post, so by then, my expectations are that you already got a game idea thought down.

TELL ME OR DIE, how much have you gotten done
  • Still on the drawing board, darnit, why aren’t the ideas flowing in my dang head??? (boi)
  • I have successfully thought of an idea and started to produce lately (very good)
  • Err-- I got a ton of code down now since the last 2 days, I’m so goated (wow)

Ok, I made a big decision now that the community has shared their thoughts of my perhaps controversial results.

So, just this one time, I’ll make a compromise; I won’t eliminate @danger_kitty instantly. However, what I plan on doing is adding an additional slot for @CopySprite to participate in, now there will be a total of 7 users competing in the ck5 quarterfinals.

Nothing more should change, though; it’ll still be the top 4 who will move onto the semifinals.

I spent SO LONG trying to choose which of the games were better, your two games were SO CLOSE!! I finally decided to put yours above because it has just a bit more enjoyable/unique gameplay (rather than the standard fighting game) and it’s complete (rather than part of a larger series), but it was really hard to pick :laughing:
