I’m changing the idea of my game into something else because I have an idea but just can’t make it.

Alr I made a new alien type (the Soldier) but I wanted to show my pixel art process:

STEP 1: paper draft

Basically, I’ll draw something on paper, starting with the outline/shapes, then the color/details.

STEP 2: flat color

Flat color in editor.

STEP 3: finish!

Less than one week till the extended deadline (end of 09/15/2025 EST) passes for the CK5 quarterfinals! With that being said, could you guys share some leaks to build up more hype and allow me to get a good idea of how you’re doing, other than a typical poll?

With that being said, now that we’re getting close to the 50% point, could you guys share some leaks/sneaks (e.g., videos, screenshots, gifs, demos) to hype stuff up, along with helping me gauge the amount you got done, and whether 09/09/2025 is truly enough for not in general. uhh mine will be a shooter of some kind. It meant to be top down and i made cool animations and sprites but the sprite looked like a side scroller sprite so i just went with it because i didn’t want to do more animations.
