Someone was probably mad that they were quoted as a bad example
Anyways, It’s sad to see you go but your reasons are totally understandable. I was supposed to leave a while ago but I kinda forgot about that lol
The forum was once a very great and creative place, but now it is pretty bad,
about 95% of posts these days are:
- collabs where nothing gets done
- collabs where the creator wants everyone else to do the work
- off topic comments
- comments that didn’t have to be shared and are useless to the conversation
- questions that could be easily searched up on google
- people asking for bigger screen size, more buttons, more colors, etc.
- useless arguments
not to mention that most new users these days
- don’t usually share projects or anything code related
- make a comment on pretty much every topic they see
- answer somebody’s question with “I don’t know”
- ask to be in everyone’s collabs
- revive old topics
if any of these things apply to you, please understand that I am not trying to be rude, and maybe think a bit harder before you post. Speaking of which, here are some tips for making an on-topic post:
- if you have to put “(sentence)” at the end then you probably don’t need to share it
- make sure it is about makecode arcade (or whatever makecode editor the topic is about)
- this is a kinda professional microsoft forum, not really a place to chat
- your post has to get approved by some guy from the makecode team so before you post it imagine what @richard would think about it (hi mods!)
