Microsoft MakeCode

Create Github repo button does not appear

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I can’t get the button to appear in my projects for Create Github repository. I followed the tutorial on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ8SV7gS4Bg

I’ve created the token and given it access to: repo, write:packages, read:packages, delete:packages. The token seems to work as the makecode site now lists me as logged in but I’m still not able to get the button to appear. I’ve tried: restarting the browser, creating a new project, revoking the token and creating a new one with various settings. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I’m using the Meowbit hardware. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you at arcade.makecode.com/beta?

Also you only need repo and possibly private repo depending what you want to edit. Packages are i guess for hosting npm etc on github.

Ah yes, that was the problem. Thank you very much.
