DOOM in Makecode! (WIP)

Hello!

I am currently working on a little project and trying to make a very basic form of the original DOOM in Makecode. Warning, this is DOOM, I don’t think I need to explain too much on why this is violent.

I would like some critiques, as its still very very early in development but I want to know if everything currently works well. With that being said, enjoy!

New features:

  • Starting Menu
  • Better Bullets & Bullet Holes (ty Aqee)
  • Slightly Improved UI

Hello again!

A bit of an update, I managed to fit in 4 different weapons complete with animations. Now, all I had to do was make the weapons swappable. Easy right? Well, not as much. Took about an hour, but its coming along quite nicely.

One thing to mention is that if anyone wants to help work on this remake of DOOM in Makecode, feel free to add anything! I plan on just remaking it, not porting it. Thats only because I feel its 100% possible.

Also, I highly recommend messing around with @AqeeAqee’s Raycasting Plugin. That plugin is the only reason this project is even possible, and its super simple.

Hello!

Bit of a delay is coming up, as I’m going on vacation for a little over a week. Along with this, I’m mostly just trying to finish the sprites & whatnot, while also working on a MakeCode version of Windows XP. Right now, it’ll be a few weeks till another iteration is out, but once it is there’ll be a few enemies, armor, and more interesting stuff like that!

No, it’s a Technoblade reference. It was in one of his videos (it was like some sort of territory game and Techno had the arctic area) where he said, “Hippity Hoppity get off my property.”

@Kiwiphoenix364 it’s a Dani reference. Because whenever he sees documentation he needs he says that but techno said differently what @Shade9788 said is a Dani reference than a Technoblade Reference
