Dungeon obstacle

Good day guys, my query is the following, I did an animation of a barbed trap and I want that when the barbs are up they take away his life and when they are down they don’t take away his life and let my character go free.I reviewed the project of master ricardo, dungeon, but it is so extensive that I did not understand him very well as he did. I hope you can help me.
