Fall damage

i want my character to lose heath when they hit the ground from the cloud, what are some ways i can code this?

the easiest way to do this is to simply check the velocity when you hit the ground.

thank you! this helped a lot and i was able to figure it out. This is the project i used it for, its not quite done since its just to prove that i can code the base mechanics to qualify to compete
