The Sp-arc2 engine version 0.4.3! Moved the arrows to the right. Added a new background from the gallery. You can now properly chart songs in tilemaps. Retextured the arrows to match the colors in fnf. Fixed a major bug where the inputs would drop and sometimes press multiple arrows even though one is pressed. Also fixed a bug where you could automatically win by holding all the keys. Added a healthbar + score and accuracy counters. (accuracy is broken ignore that I will fix it) Added Anti-mash to prevent key spamming and you can now die both from spamming or missing keys.
noice, i think the thing that makes it so that if u hold all of those notes are pressed would help for held notes

Yeah, but that can be implemented later. What I meant was that you could just start holding all of the keys down at the beggining of the level and hit all the notes but that would be kinda cheating sooo…

Hahaha I guess you’re right. This isn’t the final design, I just quickly made this until someone with better skills makes a new sprite.
i think the reason that it looks weird is because way too much detail, keep in mind that the icons r a simplified version of their head

Hey, nice to see you back. While you were gone I took charge of development and made the Sp-arc2 engine (currently version 0.5.2). I already implemented the sprites for hold arrows, and functionality will be fully in place by version 0.7.0
i think with some smol code we could make it so that when the key is pressed it checks if its either held note bigining middle or end and set that tile to empty and then change score by 25% of the score that a normal note gives
