So…after i decided to drop my cozy game jam submission ive been workin on a bunch of miscellaneous things.
And about a week ago, i had an idea! A PLATFORMER with some RPG ASPECTS!
VERY early beta link:

Some yall say you’re fine with me jumping from project to project without finishing things. Me personally, i think it still feels pretty wrong, but, ill try not a beat myself up about it so much

- Menu (Press Menu! Only tabs that work are Save and Close as of now)
- Data Saving (In the Menu tab!)
- Short cutscene that leads up to the FIRST BATTLE! (Dont worry it wont take me like 50 thousand years to make the turn based combat system this time )
Since I added saving, each version update will be in a NEW LINK so you dont have to worry about rebeating the entire game to get to a new point!

I have a few ideas for tiles you can add, you can add tiles that turns on and off, a tile that falls when you step on it (like Minecraft sand) and re-positions at the bottom, tiles that you can go through if you press down, tiles that beak if you stand too long on them, spikes that turn on and off and lastly jump pads.
I have made all of these before so if you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Hey, I have an idea for an item that might be a nice mechanic-
Gas bombs, when thrown at feet, it sends you pretty high into the air so you can access high ledges

also, in turn based combat, it can be used as a weapon

It honestly is awesome how good you are at making rpg’s you should have some shop to buy stuff or have it so you can find weapons on the ground

@PixelDoodle Yeah unfortunately your kinda limited with things platforms in games can do just in general. And I’ve been using makecode for about 3 years now as well. Im just not popular and only discovered the forums recently. I do I have a few new platform tiles I would like to see. But I haven’t tried these and they would be super cool to add as well. (like moving tiles, one that makes you jump higher, double jump tile and more) I think I would know how to do some of these ideas I just haven’t. And you never know if someing wrong might happen to your code and its a little error that slips under your nose and someone like me sees it. Well good luck I would love to see this game succeed because I know what you are capable of and maybe someday in the future we could do a collab together.
