perhaps you could use nick from zootopia as a reference (also don’t use pure black, use a dark brown/red/purple)

I noticed giving things like clothes makes it easier to draw. Kinda like Richards PFP, It’s easy to draw a suit but much harder to draw a bird. And maybe the Fox needs more depth on its face too. If you want I would love to help draw it.
