Hello! Been working on my game, and want a link to share with my friends. However whenever I attempt to “Share Project” it responds that I am not connected to the internet.
Something strange is that I have tried to do this both at school on my Chromebook and now on my home laptop, and it hasn’t worked either time. Anyone have any info?
I have had the same thing happen to me it turned out to be due to tile map duplication which caused some sort of corruption. Another possible reason is because you have an asset or variable that is considered a bad word. Even “Crap” can trigger this, so be careful. I believe the first thing is more likely though, I don’t know how to fix it if it is the first thing.
Hello! I think it may be the first issue, but I’ve made a copy and deleted all of the tilemaps and I still can’t share. However if I look in my assets all my tilemaps are still there. Is there any way to actually delete tile maps from your assets? Or how else would I solve this?
See if you’re able to download a copy of your project. Select the Save button to give it a try. It’s the button between the project name box and the GitHub button.
The big, orange Download button might also work for you, depending on how you have configured your editor.
If you’re able to download your project, then upload it here and I’ll see what I can do. The file may look like an image file, and that’s a good thing… Your code is magically stored inside of the image file. If you get a UF2 file instead, then that will work, too.
