Animus-4-Anima (A4A) is based off the song, “Flight of the Crows” by Jhariah. I thought it’d be fun to try and visualize the narrative in a game.

My take on the theme, “floating”, was floating thoughts, like an unsure decision someone would have to make. This is supposed to be happening while you accept or decline the offers others make, both in the player’s head, and Quo’s head (the character you play as), and be visualized in the ‘mental’ states. ‘Mental’ states show Quo’s thoughts.

Unfortunately, due to master-tier procrastination and phantom burnout, I was only able to finish about half of what I’d have liked to.

SPOILERS: these are the parts I finished/didn't finish

[Verse 1] Option 1 (conversation with Tal): :green_square: finished
[Pre-Chorus] Option 2 (conversation with landlord): :green_square: finished
[Chorus] Mental 1 (learn more about Quo’s thoughts): :yellow_square: partially finished
[Verse 2] Option 3 (conversation with friend): :red_square: unfinished
[Pre-Chorus] Option 4 (stay or leave with car): :red_square: unfinished
[Chorus] Mental 2 (get your ending): :red_square: unfinished

So… yeah, not a lot got done and it’s pathetically short. If you want to know more about these, I added notes of each section at the top of the code, along with the endings.

I honestly do feel quite ashamed for how little I got done, but to quote the host themself,

, so I’m glad I even participated!

Also, please listen to the song and put the pieces together. It’ll make so much more sense if you can do that correctly.
