Whenever I’m creating (or adapting) a character, I usually just do all this stuff in my head, but since you guys were such big fans of @scamma, I’ll do it as a post!

What I want is for @scamma to be sort of like an outside observer (like the player, aka YOU), except he hacked into whatever the game is, so he’s not supposed to be there. It’s not like he breaks the 4th wall, it’s sort of like he IS the 4th wall. Another thing, he’s not actually PLAYING the game, so he doesn’t have his own character that’s part of the game, but he creates a character that works with the game, that gives the original @scamma look. So, in every game he enters, he just looks the same, but with the art style of the game he’s in.

If you don’t get it, (which you may not) let’s look back at The MakeCode Forums. @scamma is a user in the game, except he’s able to break the game, and almost do whatever he wants. If you didn’t notice, @scamma is the ODD ONE OUT in the game, meaning he is the only character who didn’t exist in the real forums. Despite that, he’s not some dude jumping around the screen. By that I mean he worked with the same rules as the other characters. He only talked through posts, a username, a profile picture.

That’s exactly what I wanted. I wanted him to almost be like he works with the codex of the game, but still has his own abilities that make him… different.

Oh yeah, and if it wasn’t already obvious from The MakeCode Forums, @scamma is CRACKED. He’s a hacker, so he can do… almost whatever he wants. But just a sec, he’s got a weakness. I’ll come back to this.

Now, the harder parts: what does scamma want? I’ve been pondering this for a while, and I found an answer. In The MakeCode Forums, scamma destroys everything because he asked a question, but got no answer. I want it to be that scamma has attempted multiple times just to fit in to a game, ANY game, to the point that he just can’t do it anymore. He hates games, to the point that he glitches into rpg’s and platformers just to nuke everything.

Which brings me to his weakness. I’d say he has only two weaknesses:

1. The ABSOLUTE UNDEFEATABLE OWNER OVERLORD of the game he’s in, if there is one (for example, @MakeCode in The MakeCode Forums).
2. His emotions.

Yes, his emotions. All he’s ever done was try to fit in. But he can’t, because of WHAT he is. That’s pretty rough.

Whenever I think of all these stuff, I usually find a song that might work with @scamma’s story. This was the song I selected:

If you didn’t notice, I’m trying to make scamma like a MakeCode version of The Spot from Across the Spider-verse.
