More pin inputs

i am using the pins and some aluminum foil to make a little controller for the micro:bit and i seem to have run out of pins to make a down and A button. (i also plugged in an oled screen for the micro:bit:

)
and if youre curious about the controller, here is what it looks like:
controller
(the black part is the screen and there are holes in the back so i can plug the foil to the micro:bit)

yeah, i need more inputs

Nice project!

But there are enough pins all directions and at least 4 action buttons, aren’t there?:

my budget is VERY low, since i live in a country with very bad economy. so i have to make it myself.

The point I was trying to get across was not the budget, but that I had the impression that there appears to be enough pins for a controller with 4 direction and at least 4 action buttons:

Depending of course on what else you have connected and if you are using pin 3 for LEDs etc.

But I might be mistaken, if so, I apologize for the inconvenience.

and which pins can i use? i tried using the ā€œanalog inā€ pins but it was not that good.
