there are some features like ability’s, new enemies, and a grinmore. Most of the enemies will be changed (like the brute.)
To kill the brute, You must shoot it when it is attacking.

I made massive progress today (and I am not done with coding yet)
Basically finished blood lust (Spear enemy)
added a ammo bar
redid sword so you can no longer hold x to be invincible, now you must time the attack. The sword now regenerates ammo, like doom chainsaw.
What I will be adding:
ability’s
new NPC’s
death counter
New weapons
item shop
grinmore
3 boss fights
new enmeys
more lore.

I am Back! The end of the game jam is near!
What I decided since the game jam ends in 9 days, (and I only have four) I will release 1 boss with basically 90% of the features listed and finish off the game with consecutive updates. This is also so the people testing and playing my game don’t have to play the game for 8 hours.

this is a wonderful game but i dislike that it is a one hit KO and every time you die you have to watch the screen again. I would add a new loading screen when you die to a brute and give tips on killing the brutes or random facts on the game. Also, if you want to have a one hit KO, please make a mode in the game perhaps in the games there are buttons you can press to make the game harder. and i love that you can see your past deaths. Keep working on it Love it!

Thank you! I appreciate this. Loading screen tips would be helpful and I have thought about them in the past. I like this idea, I will probably add them if I have the time. The idea of the one hit mechanic is that you learn from your past deaths. What do you think I should change about it?

It would be nice if you could change your mode so you can be one hit away but you could change your mode for more causal enjoyers so you have three hearts or something.
