Hi — I’m 15 and building a pseudo-3D NASCAR-style racer in MakeCode Arcade. I’ve implemented a raycast/scanline-style renderer, driving physics (accel/brake/drift), and large tiled tracks. I’m running into tilemap/image corruption and visual glitches when tracks get large. I’d love to connect with anyone who has done advanced MakeCode racing, pseudo-3D, or streaming tile systems.
if you want to test what I have so far when it starts you might want to wait about 5-10 minutes because the game starts kind of laggy but its fine after that so the first thing you wanna do is press 2 on your keyboard then press 2 again then use the arrow keys to navigate down to Bristol or Charlotte Charlotte is not quite done yet and you can test test the physics by using the up arrow key to accelerate and the to side arrows to steer and you use the space bar as your brake (you’re going to need it) but you can also use W A D to accelerate and steer if that suits you better.
Anyone tell me please how to solve the issue of my tiles glitching out because the game is really big, and I know there are other ways so ill let y’all to it

really fun! but i think you should make the turning a bit easier!
This game is fun and SUPER high tech so far!! I agree with @Hulahoop , I couldn’t figure out how to make it around the turns fast enough
What do you mean by tilemap/image corruption? Do you have a way to recreate the glitch or an image of it happening?

well i can tell you whats happening and what i think is the cuase i have over 180 tiles for my tyle map in other words the map your are driving on is made of tiles stiched together to make the map and now everytime i make a new tile and i try placing it on the map the tile corrupts and i places a different tile i made and i think the cuase is memory limits also yeah about the turning its supposed to be like that on purpose
