Welcome to my office!
I just sit in here all day long, so feel free to barge right in and give me some news! Maybe suggestions for new laws, decrees, something that needs my attention. Or maybe you just want to sit in my very awesome office with a candy bowl and various knickknacks. Did I mention I’m the president now? @CopySprite is my vice president, @RedSprite is the speaker for the house of representatives (nobody tell him it’s an empty room), and @Archer_Bright is the official bringer of chaos and anarchy!
(Oh, and try to keep it at least somewhat Makecode or forum related!)
DANG IT I was too late…
can I be the the presidential food taster
do you have skittles in your office and if yes can i have some
Ok,
Enforce makecoders to like Scratch
Ms. President, what are your thought on the quality of the games expected in the upcoming Halloween Mini Game Jam #24, relative to previous Mini Game Jams as of late?
president randomuser may I have permission to escort this man off the premises
Ms President what plans do you have to solve the current collaboration crisis?
Womp Womp
@randomuser Make good decisions for us, do not make us want to overthrow the government so we become an anarchy
Ms. President, how are you planning to communicate with the mods for any foreseeable plans/events, and how are you in any way holding any unified strength that are exclusive to you?
What did I do?
The Scratch-Makecode rivalry is bad
I come from Scratch
are you against coding engine migration?
Yes, @thegreatone is now the presidential food taster. Can’t be having any poisonings!
I’m not a skittles fan, but being the president I actually have a secret presidential vending machine down the hall, so you may have some
Sounds pretty unlawful… I think free speech is one of our laws, atleast according to the makecode guidelines!
Well, Mr. DaPro, I believe the elevated support for fall-themed games (as evident in this thread) will lead to higher quality and more diverse games. As a bonus, many users are starting to return as the school year winds down a bit from the previous September school rush!
… he’s the House of Representatives, I think he legally owns the premises
Well Luke, the issue is that many people agreeing to collaborations fail to respond or continue their contributions. Now the most obvious fix is to encourage users to follow through using some sort of reward system, but a more reasonable fix would be to allow immediate ways to participate in collaborations. So instead of having people answer in a poll they want to collaborate then fail to follow through later, I think more users should use Google forms to accept immediate responses while the collaborator is still engaged.
Yes of course! Before I was elected, this forum was pure anarchy. We mustn’t let it return to that state
Yes I agree, immigration from nearby coding languages is beneficial to the makecode economy. However, forcing support… as you can see, may not go well.
Well Mr. Project, the moderators have been swift in responding to my private messages. If needed, I may also ask then about events during livestreams, similar to how @ChimbroDaPro got them to play TMF3.
And in reality, I hold no true strength except the trust bestowed upon me by the users! They are the leaders of change here, I am simply a mediator and spokesperson.
