It’s because in the first picture, you are comparing MySprite’s VY to a string. There is 2 different equal comparison in the if section. Make sure you are getting the right one. See how in the first picture, next to the equal sign it says “0”? “” means string. Look at the second one and you will see it is just VY = 0
