I think when you said “blitz” it confused him.
He is probably thinking of the German “Blitzkrieg” which is a term to describe the war tactics used by Nazi Germany in the Second World War. The term has been shortened to just “blitz” by many English speakers.

@TheEarth if you were thinking of the blitzkrieg then I must make sure you know that they were almost definitely referring to something else.

I don’t want to talk about politics (which breaks the code of conduct) but I do want to clear up what I can in hopes of resolving this small misunderstanding.
