I’m trying the Red series again
But this time I’m going to follow a few horror game making philosophy’s I heard while playing other games
- no more walking simulator
- it’s not fun to walk and collect. The player should have to actively think about an object
- genuine puzzles
- the game should make the player work hard and think
- no flat jump scares
- all jump scares should be you running into the enemy and getting scared, not a separate animation (jump scares aren’t a punishment, there a warning not to die
)
