Wasn’t really on the team. I just saw the abysmal thing which was the original try. A default palette wrong resolution, image to makecode crunched mess. (sorry a little harsh here but that is what that was)

Did you do the clouds by hand or use a converter?

what?

The clouds are from the original assets. But I had to manually put them together into a gif. Then delete half of the frames to go from 80 to 40 and then I used another one of UnsignedArduino’s scripts to convert them all into images in one go

Well I added music to it. I used @UnsignedArduino 's Midi to Makecode Arcade script

I tried making the title theme for this and make it a bit better . . .

THERE IS HARDLY ANY SHEET MUSIC FOR THIS GAME!!! :sob:

At the moment it can only do one instrument. Meaning different instruments in a midi are all to assigned the same sound :duck: :clownfish: :boom: etc.

The script can be found at UnsignedArduino’s GitHub page. It might be a little difficult to set up if you’re unfamiliar with python. Here’s the link

What do you mean? I made it myself.

I found and downloaded the original sprites. The originals used 32 colours. However Makecode only has 15 + transparency. So I removed 17 colours from it. Then I spent multiple hours drawing. Trying to add back all the detail that was lost by removing all those colours. That intro animation in particular took forever. I then had to export it all to Makecode. I used an exporting script from UnsignedArduino for that. When I thought I was finished, I discovered that all these massive images were so big that I hit the Makecode Arcade size limit. Meaning I couldn’t create a sharelink. Which resulted in me spending another hour shrinking the images by removing all extra empty space from the them. And then I could FINALLY export it and send it here.

In short, this was not as simple as copy and pasting. It took ALOT of time and effort to pull off. I hope that answers your question. =)

Yup! It was hard enough to find a good midi for the intro

Actually that’s untrue, you can’t add more colors but simply change them through pxt.json. Trying to add more will bug out the game.
