Sprites being deleted

I was working on a game with some assets I made and all of the assets were suddenly gone. Every assets that wasn’t currently being used were deleted, making 8 assets suddenly reduce to 3. I’ve seen one other topic talk about this problem and they had patched the problem, although this is still happening as I made these assets today. Has anyone else had this happen and does anyone know the fix?

@CreativeUsername ugh sorry this happened! A few questions:

  • Were you signed into Arcade at the time?
  • Some users report Arcade stuttering or experiencing a drop in performance before they lose assets. Did you notice anything like that?
  • Did anything else unusual happen around the same time?

There were pretty much no signs before this happened. I went back into the project and it’s not letting me edit the tilemaps either. Whenever I try to edit a tilemap in the editor itself then the tilemap block gets stuck on my cursor until I close and reopen the project.
Although the sprites in my other projects aren’t being deleted, the other stuff is happening which makes creating games impossible. The project also suddenly makes a ton of empty sprites that aren’t being used in the project.

@CreativeUsername I’m sad to say we don’t have a solution for this issue yet, but wanted to give an update. We think the issue you hit is a bug in the app, not in cloud save. It is a difficult bug to reproduce, but an important one for us to fix. Data loss can be so disheartening. Can you tell us any more about what you were doing when this happened? Were you working in blocks, editing an asset, transitioning from one editor to another, or something else?

I was working in blocks whenever this happened, I’m also on a chromebook if that helps
