Ohhhhh! Then with that, I’m thinking of either a battle mode for the arena itself (and maybe you can change the arena looks with planets you’ve unlocked!!!) or something like that!

We should probably start planning out v1.0.0 of the game. We should share our ideas to funnel into one game. Like setting, main character, enemy types, who is doing what, story, music, sound effects, art, attacks and other stuff

Time to spat out all my ideas!!!

  • there could be a planet with a whole city, and when you enter it, you can’t escape because the ruler doesn’t want anyone to leave! so that could be a puzzle for the game and you could have officers around so when the ruler finds out you want to leave, the officers could be looking out for you, making them an enemy! (I have an idea of how the city would look btw!)
  • The drawing I made with the pillars and stuff! I was thinking of making that a deserted place with old ruins and stuff, having many puzzles to solve to find treasures and things like that! And maybe enemies there could be random people also looking for treasure!!
  • Since this is a futuristic world, what if there were powerups/equipments available for the players to use and customise the characters (like boots that would give you a boost if you press a certain button!)
  • There could also be a market place where lots of people come, and you can either choose to buy or pickpocket, giving a chance of either getting away or getting caught and having to run!

that’s all my ideas so far though, if i have more, i’ll share em!!!

Love it.

Here are my ideas:
The world could be set in the future on Earth, like maybe 2099.
Humans have abandoned Earth and have found another planet to live on.
The player could be a robot that was left there. The robot will have an arm cannon, kind of like DC comic’s Cyborg. The player could fight through hordes of enemies, trying to find the humans.
There could be upgrades. Like maybe the player can find a gun to shoot with. Or an Uzi. I also think that there should be a tank upgrade where the player becomes larger and can deal more damage, but is slower.
I think that there should be three modes: Story mode, endless mode, and random mode. The story mode will have levels. In endless mode, the player can kill enemy robots to grind for points. In random mode, the layout will be similar to endless mode, but the player will get a random power or something. One of them could be that the player can use @GameGod’s building mechanic.
The Story mode will be split into multiple chapters, each chapter will have multiple levels.
The player should be able to save their progress and points.
The player can use their points to buy stuff, like new guns, extra speed, health, low gravity mode powerup, etc
I think that the cover art should be something quite beautiful to attract the player’s attention and the first scene/background should also be quite beautiful.
Each chapter will end in a boss fight.

maybe on each plant one of us can help them like UnderwaterAstronaut can help them in a water plant and you can switch out your party so you can pick the character you want to play as

I was thinking that there would be just one character. The player has to play to upgrade said character. Maybe we can make it possible for the character to switch out their equipment. To understand what I mean, check out the devlogs for the game “Dauphin” on youtube. View the latest video. That’s kind of how I want the equipment system to function. The guy making the devlogs for “Dauphin” is DevDuck

I’m pretty sure we’re putting down ideas for now so @omnisImperium can start figuring out a prototype (if it’s fine with everyone) for the big game!

@Kat doesnt have to rush with the sprites. I will just use placeholder art for now. When i give you guys the game, you can insert the art/animations
