Has anyone else noticed a large amount of users charging towards their house? If so, should i run?
@JtSpeedRun Yep, It’s just my adaptation of your character image. Unless the sprite NEEDS to be detailed to look good, (like smamus in post 14) I’ll probably draw the character in my style.

Ah man. The nostalgia of this project hits different. It was almost 1 whole year when I started making this game.
Since the game is nearing 1000 plays, I might as well go over it’s origin story in complete detail. So bundle up, Get comfy, Grab a bowl of ramen noodles cause this post is going to be a LONG one.
Pixel Smash all started as a somewhat time waster project. One day, I was bored. I had already worked too much on Cybershift and I had no other large projects. I wanted to work on something new. So I booted up paint 3D and I started to draw a game title. Since I wanted the game to have a cartoony style, I originally wanted to make the games title like this:

But, It was at that moment I remembered that the world DOES NOT revolve around ME. So went back into paint 3D and drew this (I deleted the original drawing.)
I thought this was decent but then I realized it’s more of a BACKGROUND than a TITLE. So I went back into paint 3D one last time, and got this:
I thought that looked pretty Sick so I used it as the main game title! I got the name PIXEL SMASH because It pretty much Super Smash bros But MY WAY. (Get it? PIXELdoodle, PIXEL Smash haha…I’ll stop talking now…) Then I image translated them both and put them into the project! Giving you the iconic title Screen in the game right now!
A few days pass and I haven’t touched the project within those days. I also have a class representative field trip to watch a dance show In Washington D.C (Capitol of the U.S.A) coming up that I have to attend. When the day of the field trip comes around I ALMOST MISS THE TRIP. (they were doing attendance for the people supposed to go on the trip and I BARELY made it.) I also forgot to put my bag away in my locker before the trip so I had all my stuff with me…Including my school laptop…(You can see were I’m going with this.)
Back then Pixel Smash was still small and could run perfectly fine on laggy devices. So I opened up Makecode since you can use it offline and decided to work on Pixel Smash. One of my best friends from Elemetary School (Whom I’ve had a good past with) was also attending the trip. We made small talk, used my GameGo, and he later asked what I was doing. I told him I was working on a Makecode game. He was impressed by the graphics and he ultimately, wanted to help with character ideas. He made the designs for STICKBRUH, JERRY, CRAWLER, TOPTOPHAT, & C.U.B.E!
(My friend is actually the one who MADE jerry. I showed him a game I made for my GameGo with little red guys randomly spawning that say nice things. He took the idea of red guys, altered their image a little and BOOM! You get Jerry! Ever since that day, he’s been ADDICTED to Jerry.)
for the rest of the trip he would help with Animating the characters When we arrived back at school we would continue to animate the characters and have fun doing so. I still remember that field trip as one of my best memories of middle school. Currently, We’re both attending different high schools, but I have his email so we’ll keep in touch.
About 1 week later ANOTHER friend of mine made the design for FROBOT. I decided to get back at him for all the times he’s annoyed me and made Frobot as WEAK as POSSIBLE.
Don’t mess with me when I’m the game developer >:)
A few days later, I decided it was time. On March 15, 2023 1:29 pm, I logged on to the forum, clicked new topic, posted the link to the beta, and here we are. Microsoft Makecodes biggest game & largest topic, and almost 1000 plays on this game. Thank you everyone for getting me as far as I am now, and I will continue to make this game with everything I have in the future.
