Now time to say a flaw in your story!

If scamma made vortex and vortex made scamma neither one could exist naturally without one being made by someone else.

That’s true… but the idea of scamma deleting Vortex made a lot of sense in my mind. Lemme break it down:

Present Day scamma builds Dimension Tech (along with Vortex).
Vortex builds scammaMAX (old scamma).
scammaMAX befriends Forumverse, TMF 3 occurs, and we have a loop.

But now, with your instance, the loop goes like this:

Vortex and scamma get deleted.
Dimension Tech is never built in the first place, meaning scamma and Vortex never existed, this is all just a figment of our imagination.

And you’re right! THAT IS THE ENDING! The end is that because of the deletion of scamma and Vortex, they had no effect on The Forumverse. The only person who has memory of either is THE PLAYER. Besides that all universes you went to, NONE OF THEM REMEMBER YOU OR SCAMMA, because you were only there to find scamma in the first place.

BUT WAIT! Now you’re asking “But ChimbroDaPro, none of this is making any sense! If they never existed in the first place, then none of this actually happened…” and that’s where you’re WRONG.

scamma DID build Dimension Tech before entering his past self and preventing himself from doing so. THAT is where this story is coming from, if you’re following along (I probably sound like a mad scientist rn)

So this is the TRUE TMF3 TIMELINE:

  1. Present-Past scamma creates Dimension Tech (Vortex).
  2. Vortex creates scammaMAX.
  3. scammaMAX enters The Forumverse (becomes Past scamma)
  4. TMF1 occurs.
  5. Past scamma befriends The Forumverse.
  6. TMF 2 occurs.
  7. 3 months later (or 1 to 2 months after TMF 2), TMF 3 occurs. (Past scamma becomes Present-Past scamma)
  8. Present-Past scamma creates Dimension Tech (Vortex).
  9. Present-Past scamma becomes Present-Future scamma.
  10. Present-Future scamma stops Present-Past scamma from creating Dimension Tech, thus deleting PRESENT-FUTURE scamma.
  11. Vortex and Present-Future scamma get deleted.
  12. Dimension Tech is never built in the first place, meaning Vortex and ALL scamma’s never existed IN TIMELINE CONTINUATION.

Still confused? I’d be, unless you’re thinking im just yapping to try and make it seem like I thought this out and planned this (I actually did I PROMISE)

Ok, let’s try something more VISUAL.

TMF 3’s timeline is NOT a loop- well, it would be if it wasn’t for Present-Future scamma messing stuff up. Keep in mind the timeline sort of ADAPTS over time; it’s not stagnant like usual ones. The timeline starts off looking like this:

That taily part is Present-Future scamma just before going back in time to stop Present-Past scamma from building Dimension Tech. Anyway, at that intersection point, after Present-Past scamma creates Dimension Tech, like, IMMEDIATELY after, it becomes more like this:

Weird, right? It’s not like the story didn’t happen, it’s still there, but at that phase of the timeline it didn’t happen, and has no effect on the continuation of the actual timeline. It got sliced off, sorta. scamma did exist, but it’s no longer visualisable that way within the timeline. It’s not that it DIDN’T HAPPEN; it did, but it no longer happened from within the timeline that you’re in at the END of the game. hope you get it lol, i was waiting for someone to ask this hehe

The MakeCode Forums Series: References and Inspirations

Ah yes, almost forgot about my references for each game!!!

The MakeCode Forums 1: Nope, not based on any game! This is the only TMF game not based off some other game that I really enjoy.

The MakeCode Forums 2: As I said in the topic, this game was based directly off of The Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog. Other references were:

  • Harry Potter
  • Among Us ඞ
  • A smidgen of Kingdom Hearts

Next is The Wrath of Vortex. In my honest opinion, 0.5 was quite the miss. I might remake the game actually.

But anyway, 0.5 was based solely on Omori. I just beat the game and was feeling… sad… but then I thought about how good the gameplay was! So I made basically the exacts same turn-based UI but with my own little twist to the colours. The palette was based entirely on Red-Line, no lies here, and the story was not inspired by anything- except your average situation of you-make-an-invention-and-it-ends-up-being-too-strong. If I were to do anything, I’d change the animations, but I guess you could say that’s the styling of Dimension Tech, aka, scamma’s art style soooo… idk.

So next up is the big dude: The Multiversal Convergence! I had SO. MANY. INSPIRATIONS!!! But some stand out more than others, so imma make a list in order of which references had larger of an effect than others:

  1. Kingdom Hearts: That’s right folks, The Multiversal Convergence is mostly and mainly based off of my favourite game of all time, Kingdom Hearts. The length, the difficulty, the multiverse idea… ALL THINGS FROM KINGDOM HEARTS. Even Corrupted Vortex’s talking style is based off a Kingdom Hearts character! (Xemnas)
  2. Celeste: As many people acknowledged, The Hiker of Mt. Terra has a similar feel and platformer-style to Celeste, and along with that, even THE NAME! Mt. Terra. In Celeste, you climb a mountain! This game had a massive effect on TMF3.
  3. Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Wild enough, this is true!!! The Natural Ruins was intended to have enemies and challenges before the final boss, but it was really buggy, so I ended up scrapping the idea to just make the final boss harder. In the Forgotten Land, the place is surrounded by buildings overtaken by nature, and that was the idea for The Natural Ruins.
  4. Murder Drones: I wanted Technopolis to have the same metropolis robot-driven feel, just like in Glitch Productions’ Murder Drones. I wanted to add a different however, that there were still humans, but that they were all either cyborgs or taken over by AI (Cyn type stuff). Idk if I got that feel though, considering it was text-based.
  5. Questions of Travel by Elizabeth Bishop: Yeah, we were studying this poem in school, BEFORE I started TMF3. The poem has themes about the Idea of Home and Belonging. It just clicked in my head that it would be the PERFECT story for scamma.
  6. Omori, Black Space: I know I’ve already talked about Omori, but it played another role in TMF3. The Field of Memories was inspired by two things, one of them being Black Space in Omori (if you’re not aware of this, skip to 7, or play Omori, or watch a walkthrough, idk, but if you choose to do that, just know that it’s a really sad and slightly scary game). Black Space regards the dark guilt that Sunny has been pushing down using White Space and The Dreamscape (idk if that’s the official name, I just like to call it that). I thought the simple grayscale layout would work really well with the idea of The Field of Memories. I didn’t add any creepy stuff though, lucky for you .
  7. Kingdom Hearts: 0.5 A Fragmentary Passage: Ok, ok, yes, I know I’ve already mentioned Kingdom Hearts as a reference, but a specific game was used for Field of Memories(also, no, the actual FoM was not a reference, it just happened to be the same name). In the game, mirrors are used a lot, so it gave me the idea to make some sort of reflection. And just like that, I saw @richard and the others with a reflection extension on stream!!! Suddenly, BOOM, it just seemed like the universe wanted me to use it (sorry I didn’t reference whoever made it, whoever it was should speak up if you see this. I think it was @Jedi???).

And yeah that’s it. I’d be surprised if you read allathis lol

as a reference? What about henry?

AHHHH! ALMOST FORGOT TO NOTE SOMETHING!

The going-back-in-time-to-prevent-an-occurrence-but-sacrifice-yourself-in-the-process idea was ALSO from Kingdom Hearts (Kingdom Hearts 3 to be exact)!

(Also, I wanna get hired into dimension tech, is a job position open?)

Hehe, no, I don’t know if Vortex would ever hire a User or a PLAYER to help him destroy all Users and PLAYERS.

And, even besides that-

Aren’t you on Vortex’s bad side? I’m sure trying to sign up as an employee for his company may end in TOTAL catastrophe.

Unless you mean currently in the timeline, then, in that case- Dimension Tech? What’s that?
