I am sad to announce that, due to overwhelming amounts of work I have at the moment, I must resign my position in the competition. I wish the best of luck to the remaining contestants and I give the win to @randomuser. Good luck everyone!
@BryanBOfficial Are you available? I’m currently trying to put together a final matchup and I’m making sure you can still participate.
I’ll figure out a way to continue the Unique-A-Thon Championship. To help contestants balance the competition with their daily lives, they’ll each get up to 2 weeks to finish their games in the final round*.
*If all contestants fully complete their projects before the deadline, then development can end and voting can begin.
Just noting now that I added the tutorial and fixed the game-breaking radio! I suggest anyone who played originally replays because it was practically unplayable before-
Lol, I suck at these sorts of games! I liked the fact that the guy kept running and I didnt have to hold forward or A like in mario kart or something. The lasers legitametly scared me because they jumpscare you if you are taking the middle of the road- I also loed the sassy narrator XD Great game!
Thanks @PixelDoodle@randomuser@BryanBOfficial for submitting your projects in time. I know it’s difficult to get these projects done in such a short amount of time, and I greatly appreciate your participation.
So, there will be a vote that eliminates one contestant. This is a spectator vote that will last 3 days (Friday, February 3rd). The remaining two will play in the championship. They may begin the same day voting results are finalized.
As I stated before, this round will last 2 weeks (14 days) and will end on the 17th (From Feb 3rd-17th).
I apologize for the changes, these are to make sure the competition is as fair and makes sense to the contestants. This is simply the best workaround regarding the dropout.
P.S. I rather do one big post then a bunch of replies lol.
I have to say that @PixelDoodle’s game is really fun to play, and @randomuser’s game has a really good vibe and art, so it was a tough choice. If you ask me, everyone wins here since we got some awesome games in this jam! I also wish the finalists (I suppose it’s Javadoodle and randomuser by the time this is approved) the best of luck, and may the best one prevail!
@randomuser is right, the competition isn’t accepting any new contestants at the moment. But please stay tuned because there’ll be more Unique-A-Thon tournaments soon. I have a couple cool things in the works so don’t let your hopes down.
