Hello! I decided to quit being inactive forever. I locked in and made this! It’s a turn based RPG inspired by my personal favorite game series! I’m not mentioning the name here (</3) because it’s really, really grim, but it felt important to acknowledge the inspiration.
This is a really, really early alpha build. I still have at least two bosses to make, lol. Let me know if it’s too hard or something. I think it’s fair, sure, but I’m also the dev, and therefore I know about the meta picks before the meta even exists. Without further ado, here you go!
Controls: A to run / select menu options, B to open the user menu, arrows to walk. Try walking against anything that looks vaguely item-ish for loot. Oh, also! There are a lot of healing items in the game, and I haven’t added a book to explain all the status conditions yet, so here’s a crash course:
Bleeding: Cure with cloth. Deals 5 per turn on you, lowers enemy defense on them.
Infected: Cure with oil. Increases damage dealt to you.
Depressed: Cure with jacks. Increases SP cost.
Burning: End the battle to cure. Deals big damage over time, whether applied to you or the enemy.
Poisoned: Enemy only for now. Lowers damage dealt.
