Turn Photon Off

setPhotonMode to Off doesn’t seem to do anything and I’m left with a single white LED lit all the time.

setting all the LED colours to another colour or running an animation doesn’t clear it either.

I’m surprised there are not more comments on this. I’m assuming people just avoid the photon usually and instead control the led position with variables.

I am having the same issue. Funny thing is, I am able to correctly use EVERY other feature in Makecode including ALL of the advanced items. But removing one pesky WHITE LIGHT seems impossible but more likely counterintuitive. Please for the love of all that is decent, when I run the photon I am left with a white light (color cannot be changed) on the last position that will NOT change unless I trigger another photon, including go away. This is super counterintuitive, please help!

I was searching for CPX photon details and found this old post. It led me to file GitHub issue
CPX MakeCode “photon off” is broken. All details and an issue demonstration program are there.
