Unique-A-Thon 2 (Non-Official Game Jam)

Could you like send like an unfinished version though?

Here’s a couple themes I thought of:

  • Space
  • Black & White (Greyscale)
  • Food
  • Fighting (Like @PixelDoodle’s Smash game)

According to this calculator, 2e+23 is a scientific format where

  • 2 is the coefficient (just multiply by it)
  • e+x is the same as 10^x (10 to the power of x)

This means that my number is 2 * 10^23, which equates to 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (200 sextillion :exploding_head:), but negative :sob:

I made my outfit so bad, it went 200 sextillion percent into the negative. For reference, the total amount of data stored on the internet in 2023 is about 2,7 ZETTABYTES, and that’s still less than the absolute value of my score. Guess I just can’t make a good combo, what can I say

Its totally OK to have to drop a game jam! Life is a million times more important than any game competition you will ever enter. Its very good for you to prioritize your real life over a project that would hurt your mental health! While the explanation is nice to have, you totally don’t need justification.
I’ve seen a lot of game jammers do something similar to a part of this thread- look at other jammers who are constantly coding and never dropping out (like me) and try and replicate that. The truth is, some people have more time than others, or have more problems! I am super lucky to be in an online school that allows free scheduling around the jams and to not have to deal with graduating middle school. Some people have more responsibilites than others, and if that overlaps with the jam, its totally reasonable that those are the most important : )
