Unravel remake Dev-log

I’m trying to make a remake from an Steam puzzle game called unravel.

The gameplay is actually like Unravel 2, lol. It’s about 2 yarn guys solving puzzles with their yarn. Their yarn is connected together and uses soft body. So, can I ask @BLADEr to help with this game, like make the yarn and stuff, like soft body, but with gravity?

Here is the platformer start for it.

I already installed the soft-body extension. What I am planning is to connect them a string that has gravity.

  • The farther you are, the shorter the string is, it doesn’t curl up
  • It can create loops around objects
  • Each player has a max distance from each other

I apoligize, I haven’t gotten to it yet.
That video helps though! I was unsure how to tackle it and now i think i know what needs to be done. I’ll do something tomorrow

Here’s what I could do in my time:

Here are some problems:

  1. Rope goes through floor
  2. Rope doesn’t pull player sprites
  3. Rope doesn’t coil

Hope this is a good checkpoint!
