Nice! (I’m not very good at complimenting people)
Sorry for asking, but it’s the first time I’ve done this. Do I have to use that palette? I noticed with the album covers some people used different ones but here it seems like everyone has used the same one this time… anyway yeah
Usually you use the pallet, sorta like a challenge, but the pallet didn’t really fit the album cover I wanted to make so I just… didn’t use it. It’s up to your discretion, but using the pallet is a cool challenge usually. I guess just play it by ear. No one is gonna be mad if you don’t use the pallet, we are really just having fun with art here! ![]()

how do we get a project with the color pallete to begin with. I’m on a school Chromebook so I can’t go on that site you mentioned. If anyone could post a project with the color pallete that I could just copy that would also be appreciated.
Please stop. Also Luke wouldn’t want this in his topic.
Thanks for letting me know!
I made some art:
An apple
A mouse
The same mouse but now it has a mousehole in the wall (however I changed its eye colour to blue because its hole was the same colour as the eyes so it looked strange, as if the mouse had holes in its head. But the blue eyes also look strange, I think)
A snake
A tree at noon…
… and later in the day, at sunset
Finally,
A katydid face
I hope you all like them!
Now, I’m not one to step in, but since everyone here is so good at art, I had a small idea for a weekly art challenge.
For anyone who has watched Indie Cross Episode 2, you might know about The Rogues, evil robots who… want to take over the world… because they’re evil. Anyway, I learned recently that each of The Rogues are based off of game engines:
Unithor: Unity (his eye is the logo kinda)
Unreal: Unreal Engine (the mandibles are the ”U”)
Game Master: GameMaker (his eye is the logo)
Godotrix: Godot
Now, I bet you already know where this is going, but… to test your character design, can you guys make what you think MakeCode Arcade would be? It needs to have a singular eye, and needs to be a robot - that’s pretty much it, I mean, Unreal is a literal planet destroying centipede, sooooooo…
Here! This is mine. Only the first dark color is part of the palette, so don’t use the pitch blacks.
You could host Unofficial Weekly #2.
This looks like a cool idea… To bad I never had the time to watch indie cross.
isn’t Luke coming back tomorrow?
You should watch it! It’s VERY, VERY, VERY, VERYVERYVERYVERY VEEEERRRRRRYYYYY good.
I know I SHOULD watch it but the second episode is like an hour long.
(I’ll watch it this weekend)
So… I’m just going to assume we’re doing this. (I really hope this doesn’t get approved after one has already been announced)
Unofficial Weekly #2 - Rogue
Create a character based off of the rogues from Indie Cross! (maybe a MakeCode Arcade rogue?)
Resolution: Anything, because of character variations
Palette: Rogue 6 (I made this one!)
- #ED217D (light pink)
- #CD0E87 (mid pink)
- #9F0981 (dark pink)
- #492C48 (light gray)
- #271929 (dark gray)
- #09060A (black)
And if that’s all well, here’s my attempt at it: MakeCat Alyst!
nice palette! I love the purple-magenta
and great art too
maybe a giant wall that’s constantly shifting and moving its pieces like a sentient puzzle that is constantly trying to complete itself, but just can’t find how and is not going to stop trying soon?..
Love it!!!
I can tell Luke is British by how he spells color as colour
