Hi everyone! Can you believe that this week holds the halfway point of October? This month is just zooming past and I hope that it’s treating everyone well.
This week, let’s talk about listening to music. I know we’ve chatted about music taste before when @Sarge was hosting weekly topics (if you want to check that out, here’s the thread 💬 Weekly topic™: Music taste of the forum members), but I want to focus on the listening experience itself.
There are so many different ways to enjoy music. Live, straight from your phone or iPod/MP3 player for anyone that might have one, on the TV, through some speakers, on a record player, cassettes, CDs, on the radio, with headphones, and so many more. Maybe your need the music loud for the best experience? Maybe you enjoy the music more when you’re listening to it with the music video? What’s your favorite way to listen? Let’s chat about it!
I used to record my favorite songs on a children’s watch with video and audio, it sounded so crunchy but I could listen to them anytime!
Now I just use YouTube music and some nice over-ear wireless headphones
headphones normally but with a nice speaker is always a treat to the ears. Running your lungs out whilst jamming out to music might be the most exhilarating way of listening to music tho lmao
I really love listening to music through some nice speakers, ideally something kinda surround sound or can span a large space. It just feels like I’m setting the right vibe and I also get to dance around without having to worry about headphones falling off. Of the headphones that I’ve owned, I have yeeted at least two pairs of over-the-ear headphones and also ripped earbuds out of my ears while jamming out before .
Live. Either from a piano recital, live concert, or live marching band. (cause I’m in all of them ) Although I cannot (and therefore do not) listen to music while working, cause I will get distracted by the music itself. And therefore my friends think I’m weird for not listening to music…
I have a Mazda 5, which is 10 years old, so it doesn’t have Bluetooth built in, but I have an adapter now, so that’s definitely my fav way to listen to music!
