Wiring on USB when rediricting serial to USB

Hi!
I have a special setup and I want to send serial data over USB. On the USB side I want to know how the wiring are. The USB cable for the Micor:bit has 4 wires:

pinout_USB

Red: 5V
Black: GND
Green: D+
White:D-

I have looked at some USB to serial cables, and here the wiring is as follow:

usb_to_serial

Black:GND
red:5V
Green: TX
White:RX

So I just Wonder, when I’m using serial redirect to USB in Makecode, Will the green wire one the Microbit USB cable work as TX, or is it more complicated to read the TX?

No, USB is a very complicated protocol! There is a reason USB to UART devices exist!
