Adding Assets to a Custom Tutorial

I am currently working on creating a custom tutorial for my students where they will build a version of Pong. I already have a version of the game setup and was hoping to use the simple assets I created in that game for the tutorial. (https://makecode.com/_e7q0g46cr87Y)

I am having some trouble figuring out how to import those assets into the custom tutorial. I have looked into the MakeCode Docs about adding resources, but I can’t seem to properly save the game as a .txt.mkcd file so I can access the assets in the right format to add them to the tutorial. Any help would be appreciated as my students are rather excited about using MakeCode and I want to support their enthusiasm with additional content.

I have fixed the issue I was having with adding the custom assets to the tutorial. I was unaware that I had to launch the beta version of arcade in order to properly access my already made game and download the file as a .txt.mkcd file. I was trying to open it in the beta editor once the game was already opened. Guess I need to learn more about website code and the editor in general. However once I figured that out I was able to add in the assets and create the hint code.

I have finished the first draft of my custom tutorial and wanted to share it with the community. It is still a work in progress but I will always appreciate feedback if anyone wants to take the time to go through it.

Pong Tutorial

I think the tutorial tool is a great asset for educators who want to use MakeCode Arcade in the classroom. I look forward to future improvements and features. It would be really cool if there was a video of some kind that could help educators turn tutorials that are long, like mine, into skill maps or multipart tutorials. However, I feel that may require a higher level understanding of GitHub than I currently have.

WOW This is great i can now teach my creative side of my brain
