Now includes:

Better heartbeat and walking sounds
Heartbeat speeds up when you get closer to scarlet
Scarlet now pathfinds towards the you when you are seen (Chases)
Deaggros when breaking line of sight for at least 1 second
When not aggro it pathfinds randomly around the map (Wanders)
Made scarlet animations more terrifying

I’m heavily analyzing this right now and before I give my full response, I have a question.

What does the “for element value of” do?

It gets all the sprites of a kind (in this case enemy) so I don’t have to repeat the code for every single enemy sprite.

These additions sure look great, but I am not playing that :fearful:

Same I moved the player during testing so I knew where the monster was so I didn’t get jumpscared lol

I’m working on adapting the stuff I like into an upgrade for the base game

But before I release that I wanna tell you my thoughts on what you have added

Let’s start with something simple:
Sound
I really liked the sounds you made for the heartbeat and the foot steps but each of them felt like they were not in the right place. The best was to high and the step was too low (In my opinion). So I adjusted them and swapped where they go

 Agro/Wander
      Love it! I tried to make them do that manually a while back and I never thought of using an extension! Work smarter not harder.

I may add a mood called “seek”. It goes straight too you but runs away once it finds you. Like a little peek

 Heart beat speed
      I like the idea and it's well put together. Although, I intend the heartbeat to be a means of being able to tell if a Scarlet is around a corner you can't see. The game has very limited sight and I want the player to know when it's dangerous. So, I'm going to have it if the scarlet is a between 200 and 100 it speeds up by distance, but if it goes below 100... the heartbeat stops completely. Leaving the player and an disturbing silence only hearing there footsteps. This will help the jumps scare hit even harder.

 New scarlet art
      It's well put together and definitely scary-er but I find it to be out of place, wether or not that is because I made the game or the game doesn't have as many organic shapes; I couldn't tell. I will be using the original art (maybe slightly adjusted). I may have the dripping art in some sequel (like fnaf2)

Nice to hear your feedback! I don’t mind that you didn’t implement everything as you explained it out really well. I think that the seek mode will be excellent as it helps keep the player on edge.
I was trying to add a sound that would be played constantly when Scarlet was near, but it kept drowning out the sound of the heartbeat, which meant you couldn’t hear the heartbeat speed increasing. If you have any idea how to implement this let me know! I was also experimenting with increasing the volume of Scarlet as you went closer, but encountered the same issue.
