Really cool! Reminds me of this game I have made “The Explorer” Which was a 2D exploration and combat game taking place on a fantastical planet.

As of 2/10/26, the game now has a HARD MODE update!

  • Adds a new hard mode, meaning Big Square is tougher to avoid[1].
  • Cyan has unique dialogue for her depending on the difficulty you win on.
  • Maybe added bugs in the process, if you see any, tell me what it is and I’ll fix it!

  1. You must beat normal mode to unlock it first, which the regular game. ↩︎

as of 2/11/26 my game now has a sun block and a cloud block

I am aware of the crash bug and I’m not sure how I can fix it or if it’s even possible. I might try and completely rewrite my level changing code in a future update to help prevent this. It happens the most after the first boss when I change all of the Tilemaps in the array to the new world. If anyone can help with ideas to fix this it would be great, but I know raycasting can be pretty buggy. (It’s not official raycasting extension also)

Also getting lost in the jungle part is very much intentional! The maps are all the same size and have the door in the same place across from where you enter the level.
