Sorry about that, I’m just not good at small detailed sprites. But maybe we could also add a ducking mechanic just in case we need/want 1 tile tall sections.
That’s why I made the player one pixel too tall… So that they would be have to use a special duck or slide skill to get past one tile gaps… I’m just stealing everything from Katandra.
I prefer the smaller player. Also, the background is rather static, which makes the game hard to read. I would advise giving it a slight parallax so you can tell it’s far away.

Hey, in light of this, I would advise making all abilities togglable with a simple boolean.
Doing this in the earlier stages of the game will make them easily unlockable and able to be switched out before you even have to plan anything.
idea but better make a boolean array one for all the abilities I just love arrays
