Right. Whenever I diss AI it is generative AI for anything that humans can or should be doing. Using it to help with pattern recognission is the only thing I can think of that it would be actually useful for. I remember before all this generative stuff the same programs were being used to recognise what object is what in seconds, and that might be helpful for security cameras. These CEOs are just idiots.
Oh no, not the big companies, that would be so terrible.

Our economies and everyday life to heavily on it, even unlocking your phone uses ai, smart assistants would stop responding, customer support services crash, roomba’s can no longer evade obstacles, some houses would even lock
We have spent the last 4 years heavily baking this thing into our economy and now it Accounts for 35% of GDP and it going away would result in an event similar to the 2008 Financial Crisis, we would recover but it would be hard
