I actually cried reading this. I’m not sure what I’m going to do now because it seems like everybody is leaving. I’ve never mentioned it before but when I saw pixel smash I was inspired to make more games. But now I’m not sure where I will get inspiration from. Anyways, Farewell @PixelDoodle thank you for everything you’ve done for our forum.

everyone that helped you at the start of your journey will leave.
the people that truly made you believe that YOU want to start coding on makecode.
so what do we do?
well, make games, don’t start RANDOM ARGUMENTS ABOUT NOTHING
no offence, but honestly when you start a talk about gender in the middle of a great game collab, you’re basically ruining the topic, destroying it in a way.
and when the dev of the collab tries to put it out, it’s like they are talking to a wall. Nobody cares and it takes SO LONG to put out.
like dumping a bucket of water in a forest fire
but there is a catch, you can stop a forest with buckets of water, what does this mean? the community can band together, keep this place great, a place where you can post games and talk with other devs! not too far on one side, not too far on the other.
if we work together, this place would be amazing, and people wouldn’t leave because of random arguments!

Yeah, we will bring makecode back! Makecode’s big spring happened back in 2020. Just because late 2023 / early 2024 was a harsh winter doesn’t mean we cant bounce back! It’s inevitable - the forums will come back, when the time is right.

I’m leaving for a bit… I have TONS of school work, relationships, and family to work on. I might come back or not… I love this forum and people leaving is sad, but I think it’s my time… for a short time… or longer. expect me to come back in may.
