Wow, that’s an amazing achievement! And I understand the loss and the emotions it triggers when reading he is leaving - even though I cannot relate to him and the experience you shared, as I am one of those new users.
Seems it was a little too much. It’s important to keep balance in everything that we do.
Investing in one thing means sacrificing another.
Hope he will be fine soon and might return for one or the other side project.
Also, from the perspective of a stable and healthy community, it must not rely on one, two or three main actors. Any change causes anxiety and friction in the beginning.
I hoped there was a community like this when I started my journey with a 14k modem, a robotron KC85/2, Amiga 500 and later Amiga 2000…
