I’m on third day off, my school district works that if one area in the county is bad no school for everybody, its one of the largest districts in the country

Thats crazy. I haven’t had any days off so far, I’m having pretty good weather over here actually. For my school there’s basically 2 dudes who drive every bus route daily to see if conditions are safe for buses and other transport.

im leaving.
my parents think what im doing is useless and its not like im coding for a living so im giving up.
i never have a product to show after all my hard work.
@Bifrosty you can continue the thing i did in the slimey adventure post. im not going to do it anymore. ( it should be the latest link i havent done anything new)

I gotta say it: your parents stink.
Coding teaches both problem solving skills and engineering, as well as being a good hobby for creative minds. It is good to have hobbies, that is a proven fact!
Also, makecode is an easy way to learn coding, and once you know the basics you can use that knowledge to get a job in the industry later! Sure, you aren’t making money now, but video games are an 8 billion dollar market (I think). Even out of the video games market, coding is a widely valued skill for tech companies and any company that has a website.
Sorry to see you go. You will be missed.
