my parents think what im doing is useless and its not like im coding for a living so im giving up.
i never have a product to show after all my hard work.
@Bifrosty you can continue the thing i did in the slimey adventure post. im not going to do it anymore. ( it should be the latest link i havent done anything new)
I’m now officially leaving coding but i might come into the forums once in a while to ssay hi. so if you see me pls say hi.
Im sorry and I’m sad that all the things @BlobDev has done for me is now going away.
If i joined any group im also srry to you guys. (@Cybercube ) srry.
i really dont know what to say anymore.
I honestly knew this day would come anyway so… ya.
good luck to all of you and i hope to see you guys in the future.
your letting haters bring you down, HATERS GONNA HATE
If you like to play games would you stop because someone think its a waste of time
if you have a j*b that you enjoy would you quit it because someone thinks it doesn’t pay well enough
in this world people get nowhere by only doing what other people said
THIS IS NOT USELESS
Development takes time and its a long process of trial and error, the most productive things in life take time, you need to be patient and you will eventually have something you are proud of
if development is what YOU want then you do it
nobody can control your passion
don’t let the haters win
godspeed
wow. Im actually rly sad. My parents say the same thing but i dont even have a good relashonship with me my so i dont listen. Ur r honestly an awsome coder and i wish you the best of luck
noooooooooo thats such a horrible way to view something like makecode :(
even if it seems useless, creative projects are simply one of the best hobbies you could have for growing and just creating something cool. you’re a great coder and artist ill be sad to see you go…
Coding teaches both problem solving skills and engineering, as well as being a good hobby for creative minds. It is good to have hobbies, that is a proven fact!
Also, makecode is an easy way to learn coding, and once you know the basics you can use that knowledge to get a job in the industry later! Sure, you aren’t making money now, but video games are an 8 billion dollar market (I think). Even out of the video games market, coding is a widely valued skill for tech companies and any company that has a website.
