The art is IMMACULATE and the movement works. I would advise that you speed up though, only 9 days left
Wow, great start! I’d suggest you move jump to Up, and then that leaves there two attack moves: A and B!
Yeah, I’ve been considering that. The thing is, there are going to be three separate attacks linked to B, so I’ve been considering whether or not to include a neutral attack for A. I think I will do this though, if I have time.
Well, the art (for Mario) is basically the Mario World Mario with a little extra shading and adjustments, in a different color palette. And I am speeding up, I’ve just been working on character design until now.
Another thing:
Anyone can request a character, I may or may not get around to them before the game jam ends, if I don’t I’ll add my favorites to the game. Something that would be useful to include with your character idea would be art. The palette that I’m using is the Equpix15 palette from Lospec, with the dark blue being replaced by a dark-ish pink.
You should probably just do the N64 Cast and remove/add those who you see fit
for example, jigglypuff or Luigi could be removed since their not as huge (ness too but i like mother), maybe be replaced by sonic or maybe Peach or bowser)
Here I have Mario’s attacks! (A is still jump) UP+B for up special, DOWN+B for down special, and LEFT/RIGHT+B for side special. This one has a very overpowered side special, I just couldn’t not post it without the side special like this, it’s just so ridiculous and fun.
Well, I don’t want just the Nintendo characters. I want as many characters as I can do, mixed from Nintendo and just random custom characters. Plus, I want to do my own attacks.
You might want to post a demo to the game jam instead then. There’s about 8-7 days left of it
Yeah, that’s what I’m planning
