Enemy ay acelleration

Is there a way of enemy follow the player but with ay acelleration 500?

In the game maker tutorial there’s a platformer tutorial that shows you how too.

It didn’t worked.

Othersprite is the enemy. The reason why it probably didn’t work was because it didn’t have code to make it stop at a certain point. Maybe try this at the end:
